I recently had the extreme honor of meeting with News Macarons founder, Hannah Foerster, to discuss women in business and the challenges of starting and maintaining your own business.
Hannah has a gift for drawing extreme honesty out of her interviewees, and in doing this interview I found that I could comfortably share the fears and challenges that we faced as my husband and I established Hummingbird Bridal and Events together.
To read the full interview and to understand more about who we are and how we truly came to be, read Hannah's full interview here: https://newsmacarons.com/mandy-connor-hummingbird-bridal/
A very special thank you to Hannah for giving us the opportunity to share our story, and my deepest thanks to all of the strong and empowered women who have served as inspiration and mentors to me as I navigate my own journey. As Hannah summarized, "it's important that we focus on the light that we generate together." (Photo courtesy of Alexandra Roberts.)
