Some couples are so amazingly unique in their taste and preferences that even for a planner who specializes in unique weddings, the experience becomes a whole new adventure! Julia and Dave planned their wedding with us all the way from Germany. They wanted a historic and completely unique venue – which we found at Stonehurst, the Robert Paine Estate in Waltham, MA.
Bittersweet Gardens provided stunning in-season, locally sourced florals in bright pops of yellows and soft creamy shades to complement the beautiful rolling hills and landscape that surround Stonehurst. And the rich woods and tapestries in the house set a stark contrast against the warm sunny fields outside. It was like stepping back in time to be able to host an event inside this beautiful historic mansion.
Swartz Catering provided the delicious food and fantastic lemonade station for guests as they arrived for the outdoor ceremony, Sweet Tooth Bakery provided the amazing wedding cupcakes, and DJ Kevin Neary set the stage for a fun night of dancing with his personalized mixes for the night.
