Abby and Dean are one of the loveliest, kindest and most generous couples we’ve had the pleasure of planning with. Instead of asking for gifts for their wedding, this amazing couple, deeply dedicated to animal welfare and sustainable rescue placement, asked that guests donate to local animal welfare and rescue charities. Rather than purchasing a tallit to cover their chuppah, the couple asked that friends each design a small square of cloth that was then sewn together to form a beautiful, handmade tallit. And rather than purchase a new wedding dress, the bride wore a beautiful vintage gown that she had purchased years earlier.
This wedding day was the culmination and celebration of family, memories, friendship, Boston, and all of the amazing ties that bind these elements together. The Fruitlands Museum in Harvard, MA set the stage for a gorgeous, warm Fall wedding day – the kind of day that we dream about in New England. Sandra Costello took all of the stunning photos that you see here, and provided positive energy and hugs throughout the day. Fireside Catering provided delicious Fall fare, and Bittersweet Gardens decorated the ceremony and reception space with vintage wine boxes filled with seasonal flowers that popped with brilliant color. Finally, Bliss Bakery provided the adorable wedding cake and fondant topper that featured the bride and groom snuggling in bed with their pups (who acted as ring bearers on the big day!)
