Allison told us again and again going into the wedding day "It's going to be an amazing wedding day, but I'm also wishing for 65 degree temperatures and white, fluffy clouds." And low and behold, after a winter of bleak cold and miserable temperatures, Allison and Avery were married on a perfect Spring day, filled with love, laughter and white, fluffy clouds.
We had so much fun planning this elegant and timeless Gatsby-styled wedding. The ceremony took place at the historic garden-filled Mount Auburn Cemetery and the reception followed suit at The Hotel Marlowe (where guests who stayed on-site were treated to a goldfish buddy for the length of their stay!)
DJ Tom White spun tunes until the wee hours, and later lead the guests downstairs to a chic After Party in the red velvet Marlowe Lounge. But nothing could top the moment when the bride jumped behind the dessert table to scoop custom-flavored ice cream for guests (from the famous Nona's Ice Cream where she worked as a teen.)
Photographer William Tangorra captured every beautiful moment, and Vera from Veracious Productions turned the moments into a gorgeous highlight reel for Allison and Avery to enjoy for years to come. Konditor Meister created a stunning Art Deco inspired cake for the event, and the staff at The Hotel Marlowe and Mount Auburn Cemetery couldn't help but be moved by the beautiful emotions of the day. As our first wedding of the 2015 wedding season, I couldn't be more grateful to be a Boston wedding planner and to be surrounded by such wonderful couples and talented wedding vendors. Thank you to everyone involved in this amazing wedding day (shout out to Bittersweet Gardens for knocking the seasonal florals right out of the park once again!) and CONGRATULATIONS to Allison and Avery!
