We were BEYOND excited to have the chance to plan alongside the team at Barbara Lynch Gruppo in preparing for the launch of Chef Barbara Lynch's memoir, "Out of Line; A Life of Playing With Fire." This was truly an amazing night filled with the most delicious food paired with exceptional wines from Hirsch Vineyards and of course, laughter, happy tears and many toasts.
Surrounded by her nearest and dearest, Chef Barbara Lynch treated guests to a reading from her book which features stories of how she grew up in South Boston and made a name for herself in the world of fine dining in the most unconventional way possible. Chef Barbara may be one of the best chefs in the world, but her down-to-earth nature and hold-no-punches approach to life make her incredibly warm and approachable, in spite of her notoriety.
From beautiful seasonal florals provided by Hanaya Floral Design to vintage books sourced from friends at Cafe Nerro, and notebooks personalized with stories and quotes, no detail for this beautiful event was overlooked. And to capture it all was the incomparable Binita Patel, goddess of luxury photography. Events like this, focused on joy and celebration and incredibly unique stories, are what make me so grateful to be a Boston event planner. This was truly the party of the year!
