After planning my own wedding, I found myself frustrated by how limited and often impersonal the experience felt. I knew there had to be a better way.
So I created one.
Hummingbird was built as a boutique studio for clients who want something more thoughtful, more personal, and far more considerate than a formula.
No two celebrations we design are ever the same - and that is entirely the point.
I believe that weddings are a chance to celebrate who you both are, where you have come from, and where you are going together. It’s a chance to tell your story and to celebrate those who brought you here.
My philosophy at Hummingbird Events and Design is “authenticity in every detail.” It deserves constant reminding that you only get one wedding day – let this day be a celebration of you and your betrothed and everyone that you love most.

What does a wedding planner actually do?
I am originally from New Jersey. After finishing my B.S. at Rutgers, I moved to Boston to complete my Masters in Journalism at Boston University. While I am a NJ native, having lived in Boston for 20 years makes me an official New Englander.
I love laughing, I'm obsessed with weddings and there is no such thing as an idea that is "too crazy." The more unique the idea, the more I'm dedicated to making it happen. For example, I was raised on a farm so I brought baby lambs to my own wedding to scamper around with our guests during cocktail hour. Everyone still talks about how much they loved the lambs to this day.
