This lovely bride and groom decided to take the pressure off of the wedding day by doing a beautiful elopement ceremony in the Boston Public Garden. Within 45-minutes of receiving the phone call about her idea, we had a photographer and officiant booked and ready to go.Read More
[Unofficial] Tips for Getting Your Wedding Published:
Step 1: Work with Hummingbird Bridal and Events to plan a series of gorgeous and highly personalized details for your wedding day.
Step 2: Allow Hummingbird to execute these details flawlessly as your photographer captures all of the details of the day.
Step 3: In a fog of illness, just days after your wedding, wedding planner will submit these gorgeous details to Boston Magazine, where she has graciously been asked to help highlight new and emerging trends. Wedding planner is very sick by this stage and is probably typing crazy things. God only know what was actually submitted.
Step 4: Success! Published!
In all seriousness, a big HUGE thank you to Boston Magazine for asking us to be a part of their trend-focused report on cool and inventive seating chart ideas! Our couple, Maggie and Duncan, were just returning from their honeymoon when they received the exciting news that they were officially trend-setters.
I was SO excited to help kick-off Pride Week with @nbc10boston as we celebrate “15 Years of Same Sex Marriage!” I am so honored to have witnessed so many beautiful wedding ceremonies celebrating love within the LGBTQ community. As we “look back and love forward” this week, my heart is full. If you didn’t get to see the segment live on The Hub Today, check us out here!Read More

Hummingbird Bridal was once again extremely honored to be featured in the Boston Globe, this time for an article titled “How To Plan an Instagram-Worthy Wedding.” And while we are very excited to be called out for planning weddings that are “Instagram-worthy", but to be perfectly honest we never set out to plan weddings for the purpose of making them Instagram-worthy. We set out to create weddings that are unique and deeply personalized and different from any other wedding. It just so happens that when you do this, those weddings are also eye-catching and beautiful and contain amazing surprises and sick details.Read More

The skies cleared in Newport with plenty of time for Brittany and Patrick to get married outside along the famous waterfront. Boston Pollen arrived with a VAN full of stunning tropical florals and DJ Peter O’Karma rolled in with his vinyl records ready to roll. Team Hummingbird was in rare form offering “flossing” tutorials to anyone who wasn't clear on the new dance move in between designing the tablescapes and managing the timeline, and Mikhail Glabets, one of my all-time fave photographers captured every gorgeous moment of this super fun day.Read More
So many thanks to Stop Go Love Videography for this absolutely gorgeous video recap of Amira and Karan’s Rehearsal Dinner Celebration and Wedding Day at Club Getaway in Kent, CT this past September. We are full-on “ugly crying” happy tears over this beautiful video!
Amira and Karan’s Rehearsal Dinner Celebration featured an amazing umbrella installation across the ceiling from Powerstation Events (you’ve got to see it to believe it) and after this lovely rehearsal dinner (featuring 150 guests) concluded, we cleared out the tent and started over with a completely different wedding day design featuring garlands of greenery from Whiled Flowers, a 10-piece band from 45 Riots, strands of warm Edison lights and multiple outfit changes from Amira and Karan.
I want to do a Bharat at every event now! OMG, so fun!!!
Special thanks for Best of Boston winner, Maryelle Artistry for making everyone sparkle on the wedding day, to Henna By Elyse for the beautiful henna designs, and to Leah Hewitt Photography who was such a joy to work with!
Meghan and Gillian were rivals on the ice but on their amazingly beautiful wedding day, nothing could keep them apart. We were honored to have the opportunity to plan this stunningly beautiful and incredibly intimate wedding with these two amazing women. William Allen Farm in Pownal, Maine set the perfect backdrop for this event and Elizabeth Laduca (just named Best of Boston by Boston Weddings) captured every quiet moment and personal detail of the day.Read More
